What I do
I'm a editor / EVS operator at Badger & Combes. I am an ambitious, reliable and determined person whose main focus is with editing/post production, EVS operating and vision mixing, but enjoys all technical aspects of the television industry including lights and sound.
Post-production
I first joined Badger & Combes at the end of my first year at university applying to become one of the editors of the team as that’s where my passion lies, but not unwilling to learn other skills and understand other areas of the industry. My first ever role with them was when they did a live stream for the BBC philharmonic where I was a runner but since then have had many roles which is what makes Badger & Combes so unique. Not only are they a great team to work with and help you develop the skills in the area you want to go into, but also, they open your mind, understanding, and allow you to experience other roles you may not have known you enjoy.
EVS and live stuff
As for me I started out as runner/editor and am now doing editing and EVS operating for my job. This came to pass all because they had the EVS on stand by during a sale sharks live stream and due to the fact EVS operating follows similar actions as editing gave me the opportunity to learn it. I even got to vision mix and direct a few live streams. I have gained a lot from working with the team and can’t wait to further expand my skills and knowledge in the industry.
