My role at Badger
Hi I’m Chloe! I’m the editor and EVS operator here at Badger and Combes. I consider myself an ambitious, reliable and determined person who loves to tell a story. My passions lie within post-production including editing, GFX and all things gallery related including EVS, Vision mixing, Directing, and engineering, but I do enjoy when I get the opportunity to go out on camera.
My Badger Story
I first joined Badger & Combes at the end of my first year at university, applying to become one of the editors of the team. As I became more confident and my skills in editing grew. I soon got put on EVS, which at the time none of the team knew what it was, me included. With a manual put next to me and the time of a rig to learn this new skill, I was given a challenge, one I am glad I undertook as over 5 years I have become specialised in EVS and am even teaching others. It has been an incredible journey so far, and can’t wait to find out what’s next.
How my passion for the industry was born
My fascination for Media began after performing on stage. Performing as the lion in wizard of Oz allowed me to discover my passion for entertaining people as well as telling a story. Not only that, but I got a snippet of what goes on behind the scenes. My favourite TV shows also had an impact as I always wanted to know how each scene was made and what was in the mind of each person when creating content that continues to inspire me. DVD extra's and being able to go to conventions and ask my curious questions in person continue to encourage my efforts in the industry.
