Seven years ago, our MD embarked on a journey to transition into a media professional. Studying at MediaCityUK at the age of 40, he realised his age opened doors of opportunity for him, and not his 19-year-old counterparts, probably because of maturity and experience. Determined to break this stereotype, our MD brought other students along to those opportunities with him. Age, it turns out, became a strength rather than a limitation.

It was clear students were eager to dive into the industry but lacked the bridge between academia and practical skills demanded by companies. That’s when we were entrusted to create a Media Production Team, offering tailored experiences while meeting industry needs.

Out of this need to bridge the gap between academia and industry, Badger & Combes was born. We saw the disconnect, the differing philosophies, and the need for adaptability. Beyond that, we recognised a digital skills gap. So, we dove into merging creative and digital technologies to offer groundbreaking solutions.
