What I Do
I usually spend my time in the kit store looking after all the kit as it comes and goes on their different jobs from day to day. Making sure things are working and fit for the next job. I also operate the cameras working on shoots for Lancashire Cricket, Super League, Steamforged, Sale Sharks Women amongst others.
Kit Store
In the kit store, I am tasked with servicing and cleaning the cameras and tripods, making sure settings and file names are correct for each client. Checking each box of kit to make sure nothing is lost and looking after the repair or replacement of any faulty kit. Also, ensuring all cables are tested and working, so there are hopefully no surprises on location.
Camera Operating
My main passion is being on camera, and I enjoy it so much I spend 4 full length days filming the county matches for Lancashire Cricket, I have been on one of the ball tracking cameras for the majority of games for four seasons, operating a wide variety of cameras including Sony PMWs to Sony HXC-100s with HJ40x10B lenses or canon UJ90x9B lenses. I do my best to track each ball bowled and batted throughout the red and white ball games.
